Jeff Van Pevenage
President & CEO, Columbia Grain
Jeff Van Pevenage joined Columbia Grain International in 1990 in Colfax, WA, while finishing his senior year at Washington State University. He transferred to Great Falls, MT in 1993 managing the terminal in Great Falls and moving into trading spending four years trading durum, oats, and barley.
In 1999, Jeff transfer to Pullman, WA where he managed the Pullman, WA and Moscow, ID seed and pulse businesses as well as Central Ferry, WA, Snake River barge operations. Jeff transferred back to Great Falls, MT in 2005 to trade domestic spring wheat and started the Montana Pulse business for Columbia Grain. In 2006, he became Head of the Pulse Division for all of Columbia Grain. In 2008, he became a Vice President, Regional Manager overseeing all of the Montana operations and continuing to trade wheat and pulses.
In 2013, Jeff was promoted to Senior Vice President of Columbia Grain followed by becoming President and CEO of Columbia Grain in 2016 and now resides in Portland, OR
